The Faculty of Informatics at TU Wien is offering a full-time (40 hours/week) position as an Expert (all genders) in Public Relations and Science Communication. This is a fixed-term position expected to run until January 2028, or at the latest, for the duration of the associated leave of absence. Tasks:
Science Communication
* Translate computer science research and teaching into clear, compelling narratives
* Develop content for our website, events, social media, newsletters, press releases, and outreach formats
* Collaborate with researchers to communicate their scientific work and societal impact effectively

Media, Press & Community Relations
* Act as the central hub for media inquiries
* Write, refine, and coordinate effective press releases
* Work closely with faculty members and the university's central PR team to shape clear, accurate messaging
